  A large study of 1334 patients in the United Kingdom set out to answer the question of what helps back pain.  Patients were randomly assigned to 4 groups.    The 4 groups were: best care” advice from medical doctors, stretching and exercise, chiropractic adjustments, and exercise and chiropractic adjustments.  The patients were followed for 12 months.  The patients who had the best outcomes were the group that received both chiropractic adjustments and exercise.  Chiropractic adjustments alone had a better outcome than exercise alone. … Read more »

  Using survey responses from nearly 500 patients from chiropractic clinics throughout Australia, researchers found that nearly all patients (97.5%) were satisfied with their care and would seek chiropractic services again in the future. Chiropractic protects Medicare age patients against the typical age related declines in health!   Treatment for back conditions in Medicare beneficiaries were evaluated for a period of 2 years.  Health outcomes were scored.  The older adults that utilized Chiropractic were significantly protected against declines in activities of daily living and overall health compared to those who used medical care.
